Shawn is a dedicated and detail-oriented solicitor with a growing practice in property and commercial law. Her areas of expertise include residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial and retail leasing, business sales and acquisitions, and general corporate advisory.

After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, Shawn began her legal career at a Canberra-based boutique law firm, where she gained foundational experience in ACT residential conveyancing. With her sound legal knowledge and humble attitude, Shawn quickly established herself as a friendly and reputable legal practitioner, providing practical and timely advice tailored to her clients’ needs.

Since joining Pennicott Weir Lawyers in early 2025, Shawn has continued to broaden her practice. She now assists clients with a wide range of property and commercial matters, including business purchases and sales, loan facility agreements, shareholder
agreements, and other commercial transactions. Her practice also extends to assisting with general family law enquiries and criminal defence matters.
