Prior to being admitted as a Solicitor, Bryanne had worked in the community sector for over 20 years as a Social Worker in government and non-government positions and as a private consultant. She has worked with, supported, and advocated for children, young people, families, and others during some of the most challenging /traumatic events of their lives.
After graduating from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Laws she was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW and then to the High Court of Australia.
Prior to joining Pennicott Weir Lawyers Bryanne worked with a firm specialising in Family Law in the South West Sydney region. She then moved to a firm in Canberra, where most of her practice as a solicitor was focused on Care and Protection and Family Law matters and was expanding her practice to acting for parties in the Family Violence matters, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship matters.
Since joining Pennicott Weir Lawyers, Bryanne remains focused on supporting children, young people, families, and others in numerous jurisdictions. She frequently sees clients at our Gungahlin, Wagga Wagga and Hay Offices. She provides advice, support in negotiations, and representation in Court proceedings.
In Bryanne’s practice as a solicitor, she represents children, various other family members and carers in Care and Protection matters. She represents various parties in parenting and property matters under the Family Law Act; in Family and Personal Violence Matters in the A.C.T. and NSW. She offers a considered approach drafting Wills, Enduring Guardianship and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
